Carol and I first worked together in the 1980s at the York Theatre, when she acted in my production of Alan Ball's new play Cherokee County.  In the years since she has concentrated on her music and developed a large following as both a songwriter and cabaret artist.  I am so pleased she asked me to direct the first presentation of the new musical that she has been working on for several years.
